Rylee Jo

Well it has been along time since I posted anything. Rylee is officially here. She came on September 14th at 8:57 p.m. She was 6 lbs. 2 oz and 19 inches long. She hasn't been an easy baby since we got pregnant. First she didn't want anyone to see her when we would get ultrasounds, and then she made my delivery difficult. When I went into labor Wednesday morning I didn't really believe that I was in labor because I didn't have that much pain. I had a doctor's appointment in Evanston, so I got up and drove there by myself. The whole way over there I was thinking that I should call Jeremy to come and meet me to take me because I wasn't feeling that great, but I never did. I got to my doctor's appointment and my doctor checked to see if I was dilated, and I was already a 5. She told me that I needed to go to the hospital and check in. I called Jeremy to come over and he couldn't get off for a couple of hours, but my parents were heading to Evanston. After waiting, because the hospital had alot of delivery's that day, I got my water broken and went strait to an 8. I told them I wanted my epidural, and they tried 3 times and never had any success. After seeing that I was in so much pain they decided to give me a spinal block. They had to hurry and deliver me because the spinal block only last 2 hours at most. After pushing for 10 min. Rylee's heart rate kept dropping, so my doctor decide that we had to do a c-section. I was really nervous about having a c-section but knew everything was going to be okay. After they delivered Rylee they had some worries because she wasn't screaming or crying she was just looking around. She still loves laying on the floor and looking around. She has really dark hair, and looks nothing like her mother but looks alot like Jeremy. It is hard to believe that she will be a month old this week. Although it is hard at times we are truly blessed to have her in our lives. This past weekend we went and had our family pictures done, and some pictures of Rylee. They turned out wonderful.
