Rylee Jo

Well it has been along time since I posted anything. Rylee is officially here. She came on September 14th at 8:57 p.m. She was 6 lbs. 2 oz and 19 inches long. She hasn't been an easy baby since we got pregnant. First she didn't want anyone to see her when we would get ultrasounds, and then she made my delivery difficult. When I went into labor Wednesday morning I didn't really believe that I was in labor because I didn't have that much pain. I had a doctor's appointment in Evanston, so I got up and drove there by myself. The whole way over there I was thinking that I should call Jeremy to come and meet me to take me because I wasn't feeling that great, but I never did. I got to my doctor's appointment and my doctor checked to see if I was dilated, and I was already a 5. She told me that I needed to go to the hospital and check in. I called Jeremy to come over and he couldn't get off for a couple of hours, but my parents were heading to Evanston. After waiting, because the hospital had alot of delivery's that day, I got my water broken and went strait to an 8. I told them I wanted my epidural, and they tried 3 times and never had any success. After seeing that I was in so much pain they decided to give me a spinal block. They had to hurry and deliver me because the spinal block only last 2 hours at most. After pushing for 10 min. Rylee's heart rate kept dropping, so my doctor decide that we had to do a c-section. I was really nervous about having a c-section but knew everything was going to be okay. After they delivered Rylee they had some worries because she wasn't screaming or crying she was just looking around. She still loves laying on the floor and looking around. She has really dark hair, and looks nothing like her mother but looks alot like Jeremy. It is hard to believe that she will be a month old this week. Although it is hard at times we are truly blessed to have her in our lives. This past weekend we went and had our family pictures done, and some pictures of Rylee. They turned out wonderful.

Well it has been a really long time since I have posted anything. Nothing to exciting going on with us. We have finally painted the babies room, which I must say looks adorable, all we need to do is finish with some pictures, and little things. We are going to have our baby shower in a couple of weeks, and then it is only a short time until we have our child. Sad news is we STILL don't know what we are having. Every time we take a peek with the ultrasound our little one curls up and hides...this last visit my doctor was chasing the baby with the ultrasound. The 'guess' is that we are having a girl, but that is only a 'guess' because we can never see anything. Jeremy is really ready for our child to be here, but I don't think he is ready for how much work it is going to be. We are looking forward to it though. Crazy to think that we are having a child it still doesn't seem that real to me. Only 41 days left!!

Long Time, No Talk

Well it has been a really long time since I posted anything. Nothing to exciting going on new with us. Hopefully we will have our sod by the end of the week so we can FINALLY have grass in the back yard. I go to the doctor on Friday, and if my child forgets to be modest for a second we will be able to find out what I am having. Time is flying by and I am almost 7 months pregnant, it's hard to believe that in a short few months I will be very sleep deprived. Jeremy is busy working and trying to get the backyard done. He is going to try and take his mining class by the end of June so that he can hopefully get a job out at the mine soon. This month is busy for us. Shawna and Jeremy are getting married the 18th and then we have a reunion and then Jeremy has a week of vacation so maybe we can get some baby stuff done. But all in all we have been good and we are very happy that it is finally Summer.

4 more weeks

Four more weeks and I will be able to find out what I am having. Jeremy is super excited, I think he is ready for this pregnancy to be over so he can hold it already. He has been busy this week trying to get our back yard ready to lay sod and add dirt, but it seems to rain or snow whenever he has time to work on it. We have found a great deal on sod and I am ready to look in my backyard and have grass not mud. It's crazy to think that I will be 5 months pregnant in a couple of weeks. I'm starting to feel the baby move, and I only have "morning" sickness every once in a while. We have been buying baby gear a little at a time, and we pretty much have all of out big stuff, so that makes the cost spread out a little bit better. I went to the doctor last week and found out that I have gained a whole pound my whole pregnancy, so my doctor wants me to try and work on that. But so far so good. I am ready for summer to start the camping season and actually have some good weather to play in.

Busy Busy Weekend

This weekend went by way to fast for us. Jeremy got the great idea to start the work in the back yard. He spend all day pulling weeds and racking up all of the dead stuff out of the back yard. He seemed to overwork himself, because he ended up getting pretty sick for a couple of days. I was able to finish our taxes and am almost done with the quilt blocks for one of my quilts. I am going to try to finish the quilt this week. Nothing to exciting to report this week, but we are all doing great and are ready for summer to get here so more of our projects can get started.

Spring projects are begining

So it has been a busy week for us. I left Jeremy home alone for almost a week and I get back to find a hole in the wall of my pantry. Jeremy always had the idea to make it bigger so we could store more things in there, but I didn't realize that he would do it so soon. Now he is on a kick to do all these spring projects that we have planned. Next on his list is our back yard. We have absolutely no grass back there so we are left with mud everywhere. He is planning on building a shed also back there. So many projects and my busy husband thinks they all need to be done right now. Jeremy's interview went great he has to take a class that is 32 hours and then they can put him on the list to get hired. He is really hoping to have a new job by the time summer is here. The baby and I are doing great. We went to the doctor yesterday and found out that all of my morning sickness made me lose 6 pounds, so that was not good but good thing I am over that part of pregnancy. I got to hear the heartbeat again, and the next visit we have I will hopefully be able to find out what I am having. The only sad news is that Jeremy is working tons and will be starting his class soon, so we haven't got to spend a whole lot of time together. We need to plan a vacation sometime, but I don't think it is going to happen anytime soon. :-(

So Jeremy and I had a great weekend at my parent's house. We visited my dad for his birthday, and played some games. The sad thing is that I think I have gone to my parent's ward more since we have moved then I have been to our new ward. I have the week off from watching Erin, so I am planning on scrubbing my house from top to bottom, and even picking out some colors to paint the other rooms in our house. We have painted every room except for our guest bedroom, the baby's room and the hallway and stairs up-stairs. Jeremy is trying to get a better job at one of the mines or plants around here, and has an interview on Wednessday. So hopefully we have some good news from that. The pregnancy is going great and I don't know who is more excited for our new little arrival my parent's or Jeremy. Well we had a great Sunday today and I hope everyone else does too.

New to Blog

Well I decided to tackle to world of blogging. Jeremy and I are pretty busy, and I think that this is probably the fastest way to keep everyone in the loop. This past couple of months have gone by really fast and I can't believe that it is already March. Jeremy has been working pretty much non-stop. I have been thinking of new craft ideas and am starting to make quilts. Our baby is growing great and we go in on the 23rd for our next visit with the doctor. Ever since I have gotten pregnant I have heard nothing but "when can we find out what it is" from Jeremy. You could say that he is and over excited expecting father, but I would not expect anything less of him. We are still getting use to the house and finishing painting it. Jeremy is a little bummed that his "game" room is now going to be the Baby's room, but I am sure he thinks it is a great trade.
